The wait of a year was already so long,
With a year and a half, it has prolonged.

At the stadium looking for a breakthrough.

The spectators reciting it all.
But this time, the stadiums will be silent,
With an atmosphere having no vibrance.
The mild sound of a bat hitting the ball,
Players could now easily hear.
There won't be any players complaint,
For the noise that fans make.
The grounds will be empty,
With no fans, funny placards or banter.
It's just the real cricket at the ground,
And the cheering and celebrations,
At home, we will display all emotions.
Even if the grounds are empty,
Our TV rooms would still be filled,
To watch once again with family,
the biggest T20 league hopefully!
