The beauty of India is difficult to imagine
Thinking about this heaven is beyond our vision.
Its morning starts with chirping birds
And the breakfast of “parathas” & curd.
Life gets busy when the day starts
and night is as silent as the stars.
The summer, autumn, winter and spring season
We enjoy whether we are in any region.
The falling rain and the paper boat
We kept aside umbrella and raincoats.
Smiling trees and flowers all around
The smell of mud with rainwater sounds.
Lots of family talk & big laugh
With spicy dinner together at last.
The late night walk with ice cream in hand
And the discussion about all the latest trends.
The desert and the sea, the pond and lake
The blend of all flavours is in this cake.
People of different caste and religion gets nurtured
Unity in diversity is what India’s culture.
The wind that blows make intelligent minds
All over the world, we rule in chess & science.
The invention of games like Snakes and ladders and Chess
Without zero, life would have been a mess.
Humanity & respect, love & affection
Could we find in any other nation?
India has always remained strong
During division, war and slavery which lasted so long.
One more test need to be given
With terrorism and religional differences, we should not get driven.
The affection, love and warmth
Is required for all of us to calm.
With our strength & sharp memory
We will fight for peace and unity.
The golden bird is ready to fly
Just put your hands in the sky & give it a try!
